- We are able to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions.
- Fillings: no gel fillings are used - only fruit purees, curds and jams (lemon, orange, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, marionberry, pineapple, apple, cherry, mango, passion fruit).
- Note for wedding cakes: Each tier contains four torte (thin) layers with buttercream in between. Fillings, if desired, are incorporated between the buttercream and the next layer of cake.
- Fondant (a sugar dough) is available upon request. Although lovely to look at, fondant is not known for its taste---It is extremely sweet and has a chewy texture. The look of fondant can be mimicked with regular icing.
- Pricing: As the price is highly reflective of the amount of time spent decorating, there is no set price for cakes of a given size.
- Flowers: Hand-piped or hand-molded flowers are available. Should fresh flowers be desired, arrangements will need to be made with a florist or other supplier.
