Currently there are no continuing education classes scheduled for the winter/spring 2014.  Chef Andy Millage is assisting in the new Pastry Arts Program at Bellingham Technical College (a 1 year certification course) instead.

Possible offering for the Fall, 2014:

NEW!!! Wedding Cakes:  This is a 5-credit, professional level class that is being opened to the public (no need to be enrolled in the BTC Culinary Arts program to participate).  This course covers an introduction to the design and decoration of wedding cakes and other specialty cakes.  Topics include baking, filling and assembling cakes; cake design; finishing techniques utilizing gum paste, fondant and royal icing; and advanced piping skills.  Upon completion, students should be able to design, create, finish and evaluate the quality of wedding and specialty cakes.
